Unilever – Peperami World Cup Campaign – Jumbo Inflatable
A success story in creating a unique premium for a world cup marketing campaign
The brief
Unilever asked The Sourcing Team to source an ethical factory to produce a unique premium for a world cup marketing campaign. We worked with the clients design agency to create all the elements to be as close as possible to the well known Peperami character - using Phthalate-free materials. The production volume run was 20,000.

What did we do?
- Produced several samples trying to get the 3D eyebrows, eyes and mouth to lift up from the inflatable
- We produced various material printing samples to get to the right Peperami textured appearance
- We took guidance of all product compliance and testing and managed this process for our client, including the packaging safety labelling
- Factory audited, quality inspections on production – during production (DUPRO) and Pre-shipment inspections
To create this great character was certainly a challenge but it soon become a must have piece of marketing material and the inflatable Peperami was seen as many event years after the campaign - at festivals on top of the Eiffel Tower to name a few!
