Local News – February 2016

These last few weeks have gone by like a flash. We were barely over celebrating our very Pink Christmas with our #PinkHamper winners, the wonderful team from Macmillan Cancer Research, when it was time to start packing bags to go on our annual tour of fairs, exhibitions and meetings with partner suppliers and new companies we want to work with.

The team spent most of January on the road. Becky and Sadie, our product experts, were in Germany and Birmingham attending international fairs and seminars and selecting new and innovative products and trends to add to our portfolio.

Packed and ready to go!

Gill, our head honcho, went to the States with a packed agenda. She immersed herself in the annual PPAI (Promotional Products Association International) Expo, which is the largest gathering for the industry and came back buzzing with enthusiasm and ideas.  Below, we captured a few notes from Seth Godin’s keynote speech at the Expo.  While on her travels on the other side of the pond, Gill also met with new collaborative partners who like us, are completely bought into the philosophy of ethicability and sustainability using carefully selected products that deliver results.

We choose our partners carefully you see. Apart from the very important criteria of sustainability, compliance, re-usability and transparency in the supply chain, we also look out for women-owned businesses.  So watch this space as we will be discussing these pillars in our business and introducing new products in the coming months. As a taster, take a look at our Pick of the Best Products.

Both Becky and Grant will be happy to demonstrate the full list and discuss how they can be used for your campaigns. Email hello@sourcing.co.uk for more details.

As we kick off March, we have joined forces with WeConnect International and committed our support for #buy16in16. Watch this space (and our social media) as we feature our 16 women-owned businesses during the year
