Brands spend vast sums of money on their corporate brand and there are many ways to promote that brand or, drive awareness to it – one of which is well designed corporate clothing. Think about when you go to places like B&Q or M&S and you want to be able to identify the a member of the staff quickly, you can easily identify them from their corporate uniform. When visiting an exhibition again, you want to see quickly who can help you on the stand and spotting a uniform or their corporate outfit makes it easy.
Branded and bespoke corporate clothing is used in many other areas not just in the typical retail environment; it can be used to draw attention to a new product or service either in store or at a pop up event – lots of key message and branding opportunities. Using the full garment – sleeves, back of neck, chest and back print areas. Think of the garment as an advertising board – what great value!
When you are arranging all the details to run an exhibition don’t forget to focus on making the team look professional, on brand and easily identifiable – plus use key messaging so that you really get the best out of every marketing and branding opportunity.

Fast track options:
We have thousands of products available off the shelf to choose from which we can decorate within 7 – 14 days depending on your need. If you need a much more tailored product, perhaps a garment that you want produced to a specific pantone colour, made to order so that you have something absolutely on brand and unique that requires more time. This does vary depending on volumes and complexity of your design, it can be anywhere from 3 – 6 months. Our clients work with us to help them with the design and to create that right product to create a “Wow” for a one off event or range of corporate branded clothing.
The Process:
We are happy to meet in person or talk you through the process on the phone. We have specialist designers who will help you see how to get the best results from your corporate clothing. The first step is to capture the brief, capturing as much detail as possible including; objectives, how the garment will be used, branding requirements, budget, timings and distribution requirements (local or global) and your timing needs.
The next step depending on the brief is to create either a selection of visuals, with a mood board including the elements for selection – materials or, samples of similar products, for example if we are creating something bespoke we just want to show you the different elements from existing samples – that could be fabric (organic or other), colours, labelling format, types of branding examples.
We are a global sourcing company and we’ve been doing bespoke work for over 20 years. We have a fantastic network of suppliers around the world, from the specification we build with you we will select the right factory or factories to manufacture your goods. Remember a key part about working with The Sourcing Team is we care about working in an ethical way so we will ensure all products are from ethically approved suppliers and we will be transparent with you about their credentials.
Again subject to the project in question, some are very straightforward – select an existing garment, select the type of decoration you require – we prepare visuals and in some cases provide a physical sample for you to approve – through to very complex projects where the first steps are the same but there can be several sampling stages in order to create the final quality and design required.
The account team will also take you through the timelines, pricing options, packaging, labelling and distribution whether you require delivery locally in the UK/Europe or to multiple global locations.
We do not compromise on our values – we will only work with factories that have reputable industry accreditations in line with our ethical and compliance values and of course understanding what is most important to our customer. We are here to advise and offer the most suitable and cost effective solution.
Factory social and ethical assessment includes BSCI, SA8000 or SMETA audit. We aim to work with all factories and brands that hold the Oeko Tex Accreditation – Confidence in Textiles standard which ensure no harmful substances are used in the dying and manufacturing process.
Some of our customers in the charity sector and those heavily involved in sustainability do like to go a step further and insist on organic fabrics – this can be certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) or Soil Association. We are also able to provide Fair Trade garment manufactures if that is something you require.
Creating unique corporate clothing and promotional products can be complex, there are many areas to consider and that’s why you need to work with a team who have many years of expertise to share with you, helping to get the right design, best suited quality of garment, value for money and a product that really delivers for your brand.
We appreciate this may feel like a complex process but we are here to have initial discussions, create concepts and visuals and help you plan the process giving you peace of mind on the garment quality and that the products will be ethically sourced and fully compliant to the meet regulations.
