Grant “new-kid-on-the-block” Geary’s cakes, loosely based on Monet’s Water Lilies
Well not long to go now so today we launch The Sourcing Team’s first Macmillan Cancer Support – “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” – as you would expect, at The Sourcing Team we like to do everything with a twist so, it’s the alternative coffee morning! Yes, on Friday the 30th of September 2011 we are hosting our very own Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee morning, afternoon & evening a chance to have some fun and raise money for a very important cause! We will be joined by a select group of customers, suppliers and friends in what promises to be an enjoyable, fun and very worth-while day.
To get the team involved we have been baking cakes! Testing our baking skills ready to share on the big day. We will be sharing with you the team creations over the next few weeks – commencing today with Grant’s perfect little cakes. Grant kept putting off his cake making day, finally, under the pressure from the team – he agreed a date. He then mentioned five minutes before he left the night before that he used to be a baker!! Dark horse!! Anyway, as you would expect they were perfect little creations, loosely based on Monet’s Water Lilies, and looked just perfect for the Macmillan image being marble green – so, well done Grant!
