This year’s WEConnect International Conference was held in association with RBS with some fantastic presentations from IBM, CIPS, Merck, Sharpe & Dohme, Aston Business School, The Coca-Cola Company, Accenture and the University of East London. Key themes included global collaboration, women’s economic empowerment – sharing of some great insights and research findings. For me it reinforced the need to continue to grow and learn as a business – keep reinventing yourself to keep up to date and relevant! It also reminded me about the positive role women have in the workplace and how we need to help inspire the next generation of young women to achieve their ambitions and fulfil their entrepreneurial potential. A really inspiring day which left me with a long list of actions for The Sourcing Team!
